BAPS Swaminarayan Sampraday recently claimed Bhadresh Swami as the 6th prominent Acharya of Hinduism, but what is the truth behind it? Who declared Bhadresh Swami as 6th Acharya of Hinduism.
Acharya title is given to the people who have done great work to main Sanatan Dharma. Adi Sankaracharya was the first Acharya in Hinduism; work done by Adi Sankaracharya is unparalleled. Then other Acharya also followed such as Ramanujacharya, Madhvacharya, Nimbarkacharya, Vallabhacharya and now BAPS Swaminarayan Sampraday claimed Bhadresh Swami as 6th Acharya.
Firs time, list appeared in Acharya topic of Wikipedia; Wikipedia is open source; mean anyone can sign up for the account and edit any article. Wikipedia also offers a way to track any changes to article. On 1st January, one of the BAPS follower edited the Achrya article and listed Bhadresh Swami as 6th acharya with no reference. Recently, BAPS spread the news that Bhadresh Swami is the 6th prominent Acharya; based on what is written on Wikipedia. It is a BAPS Swaminarayan Sampraday’s strategy to expand their propaganda; it also widely seen in Gujarat and in Gujarati.
For a moment if we were to consider Bhadresh Swami as 6th prominent Acharya, then question yourself what work has he done to protect Sanatan Dharma? All the work of Bhadresh Swami is related to expansion of Swaminarayan Sampraday; below are the work done by Bhadresh Swami which is also retrieved from Wikipedia.

Shiksapatri slok 108, 112 and 113 particular described that everyone should be praying to Shri Krishna, instead BAPS has made their own god. Instead, Shri Krishna, Shri Ram and Mahadev are listed as Dev in their temple.

How much do you know what your swamis are doing here in India with money?
Just because your organization fed 100s of crores of Rupees to make your swami an acharya, that doesn’t mean whole Hinduism will accept that.
I have said this before and I will say it again: Sanskrit is such a language that anyone can interpret and make different meanings / thesis all the time. This is what your organization has done. Instead of doing Krishna bhakti as described in the original Shikshapatri by Swaminarayan, you guys have made Swaminarayan and other swami with him the ultimate Godhead. What a joke.
Now let me ask you this: Are you that blind to see that your organization simply wants their fame to increase, so their profits can also increase simultaneously? All this, to make millions of dollars each year and increasing?
Be a bhakt. Do bhakti. But don’t do it blindfolded and by dancing on anyone’s laps and making them rich without thinking.
P.S. Off topic, but speaking of bhakti, there are so many Modi bhakts; I am one of them. But when he takes wrong decisions which can affect millions of people (although it’s rare), I don’t support him blindly. I use my consciousness to determine what is right for me. Simply because he’s the prime minister, that doesn’t mean he or his political party can be correct all the time. We all are humans after all – remember this.

Anand, you are doing great service as you are continually defeating the fools of BAPS through the use of evidence. Though I only read Bhagavad Gita As It Is and Srimad Bhagavatam, the book you reference continually mentions Lord Krishna as the Supreme Lord throughout and yet BAPS orange goons push their fake gurus and god.
BAPS is simply a show to attract materialistic gujaratis who think they are the most superior people on the planet. Actually, this in itself is teaching from the bodily platform, thereby there is nothing spiritual about their work. The movie halls, the doll statues made in factories and orange fake gurus will never succeed because it is all a show to make some money. They will continue to suffer the sins of offending the one and only Supreme Lord, Sri Krishna.

It took me years to understand this.
This is simply a business under the shadow of religion. And the real Swaminarayan teachings are far different from what these guys are doing today, i.e. doing Krishna bhakti.
We as humans are so cunning that we know, once a person is dead (Swaminarayan), he is never coming back to tell what is right and wrong. That’s why, these guys have taken this advantage and opened up this business worth billions (Google their worldwide property info).
Have you noticed how many times these sadhus are forcing everyone to donate money? I cannot stand that bs.
Whereas, at least here in India, you can see tons of other places where they will return your money back even if you want to donate and will not accept any donation whatsoever, e.g. Jalaram Sansthan.
It’s the opposite here. So almost everyone I know of, they run away from Swaminarayan because they ask for donations all the time.

These mughals patels are playing very safe game, by keeping all the process/tradition/policy of sanatan dharm as-is. No one should doubt any tactics. Keep the process same but manipulate the entire product.

Personally I have met “Swami mukundananda” from jky. He was right hand of kripaluji maharaj. He was very calm, impressive, knowlegable on all previous sat sang. But after 5-visits I realized they are also in money making business same as iskon. Kripaluji maharaj did some good work but getting the award of 6th-jagat-guru status is all purchased propaganda.
I am not criticizing ykg or iskon or any org. But in this kalyug one has to be very careful with the guru’s. These guru’s are tourist guide, who are supposed to show the path of the mountain-peak during the hike or these guru’s are local drivers who will give you ride to the destination.
Problem, starts when one gets engaged/looted/married/raped by the guru/guide/driver and than the individual forgets the “TRINITY” destination. Journey is tough so always be careful.

Shree Nilkanth Brahm-Chãri In Loj
Shree Nilkanth Brahm-Chãri reached Lojpur in the Samvat year 1856, on Shrãvan vad 6. He met Rãmãnand Swãmi’s shishya, Muktãnand Swãmi, and many other sãdhus. Sahajãnand Swãmi destroyed adharma and hypocrisy. He had many mandirs built in different regions, and installed the various murtis, such as Nar-Nãrãyan, Lakshmi-Nãrãyan, Bhakti-Dharma, Hari-Krishna, and Rãdhã-Krishna. He displayed miracles through these murtis.

I been messaging people on fb with profile pics of swaminarayan, and none of these people ever read shiksapatri in their life. All of them believe swaminarayan as avatar of Shri Krishna, so when I presented them shiksapatri slok 108 and 114; they truly changed their opinion on swaminarayan. There was one guy who argues swaminarayan sarvopari and he said Shri Krishna is everything, then if Krishna is everyting then how is swaminaraan sarvopari; and he was quickly able to change his opinion. All swaminarayan sampradays spreading that swaminarayan is avatar of Shri Krishna, which is utmost fake.
